Tool Makers Required

Due to increased demand for our product we are seeking Tool-makers to join our team of 28 skilled engineers. Applicants must have good communication skills, IT literacy, be a team player and able to work on their own initiative.

Tool-makers must be time served and have a minimum of two years tool making experience as well as experience in milling, grinding and turning. Bench fitting and polishing experience is desired but not essential.

 

This role offers a salary of up to £29K dependant on your ability.

 

In return, successful candidates will enjoy a package including extended holiday allowance, regular overtime and sickness benefit. They will also enjoy the security of a permanent position. Previous recent experience on the manufacture of plastic injection moulds would be advantage but is not essential. The successful applicant must have a good understanding of engineering drawings and be able to work with metric drawings and equipment.

 

Amtek is situated in the beautiful South Devon town of Totnes with accessible links to Plymouth, Exeter, Torquay and Paignton.
